Job description

We are looking for a caregiver for an 88-year-old gentleman (165 cm, 80 kg) who lives alone in his own family house in Stuttgart (ZIP code 70567). The senior has Alzheimer's dementia (care level 3), so a regular daily structure and a patient approach are important. The senior is mobile – he moves independently within the house without aids, uses a walker outside, and needs accompaniment. He has an increased risk of falling. He is not incontinent and goes to the toilet by himself. However, he needs assistance with daily hygiene, dressing and undressing (preparing clothes, supervising changes), showering, and washing hair. He eats independently – it is important to ensure regular shared meals and monitor adequate hydration. He needs reminders and assistance with regular medication intake, accompaniment to doctors, running small errands, and maintaining the household. Additional tasks include: maintaining a daily routine, taking walks together, playing games, conversing, spending leisure time, and providing overall psychological support. The senior is mostly in a good mood, can hold simple conversations, although occasional verbal substitution errors and disorientation occur (especially in the evening). Night: Approximately once per night, it is necessary to accompany the senior back to bed. Accommodation for the caregiver: a separate room with a bed, wardrobe, table, chair, and internet access (Wi-Fi). The house has an area of 180 m². Time off: as agreed.
