Po zlomenine členka má výrazne zníženú mobilitu – na krátke vzdialenosti sa pohybuje s rolátorom, na dlhšie trasy používa invalidný vozík. Trpí inkontinenciou a má zavedený močový katéter, ktorý pravidelne ošetruje opatrovateľská služba. Opatrovateľka je zodpovedná za každodenné vyprázdňovanie nožného katétrového vaku. Nočné vstávanie nie je bežné, v prípade technického problému s katétrom (napr. upchatie alebo porucha odtoku) je potrebné situáciu riešiť a v prípade potreby kontaktovať záchrannú službu. Dvíhanie nie je potrebné.
